Tom…do you have any additional information about the TIFS? Did it ever fly in service. N#? What happened to it? There’s an oft repeated “legend” that the TWA 707 whose nose was destroyed by terrorists got the the nose from the BOAC fire ship. Not true. That’s where the TIFS nose came from. The TWA nose was a new section from Boeing.

Kenneth, there is a photo on the new nose in the group taken at the factory. I have a few more photos to add to this section but haven’t done it yet.
